PSX Announcements

Every material fact about a listed company reaches the market through the exchange's filings — results, dividends, board meetings, insider trades. This page explains the calendar and how to use it.

⚠ Snapshot data as of 6 Nov 2026 — demonstration dataset, not live prices.

The filings calendar

In the week of 1–7 November 2026 captured in our snapshot, the portal's announcement calendar listed filings every trading day, organised by category with the company's symbol, the time of filing and a PDF or image of the document itself. Thursday 6 November alone carried 30 announcements. One example from that day: THCCL filed its annual accounts for the financial year ended 30 June 2026 — the kind of filing that anchors a full results season.

The live calendar itself lives on the exchange: Pakistan Stock Exchange's official announcements feed is the primary source this page models, and it is where filings appear first, intraday, as companies submit them.

Categories, in plain English

CategoryWhat it is and why investors watch it
Financial ResultsQuarterly, half-yearly and annual accounts — and the profit or loss that moves the price. Results filings usually also carry the dividend announcement, so this is the single most price-sensitive category on the calendar.
Board MeetingNotice that the board will meet — most often to approve results. A board-meeting notice is your early warning: it tells you the date the numbers (and any payout) will land.
Shareholder MeetingAGMs and EOGMs: director elections, approval of accounts, rights issues and other matters put to a shareholder vote.
PayoutsDividend, bonus and rights declarations, with the book-closure dates that decide who gets paid. Buy before the closure starts or miss the payout.
Insider TransactionsDirectors, executives and substantial shareholders buying or selling their own company's shares — disclosed to the exchange. Persistent insider buying is one of the more honest signals in any market.
PSX NoticesThe exchange's own circulars: listing changes, defaults, surveillance measures and market-wide announcements.

How investors use the calendar

Results season runs the market

Most PSX companies have a June year-end, so annual results cluster in late summer and early autumn, with quarterly waves after December, March and September. In results season the calendar is the day's agenda: board-meeting notices tell you which heavyweights report this week, and results filings — almost always paired with a dividend declaration — are where index points are won and lost.

Book closure is the dividend deadline

A payout filing announces book closure dates: the register of shareholders is frozen for that window, and only holders on the register when closure begins receive the dividend (the share trades XD beforehand — see the dividend hub). If you are buying for a declared dividend, the closure dates, not the payment date, are the deadline that matters.

Insider filings are a slow signal

One insider sale usually means nothing — people have school fees too. A pattern — several insiders buying after a fall, or the same executive selling quarter after quarter — is information the calendar gives you for free, if you check it regularly rather than after the move.
